How it works
New grill.
Same island.
Built-in grills come in standard widths, but every brand's cutout is a little different. Getting the fit right is the whole job.
Measure
We measure your cutout width, depth and height, plus the gas line location.
Match
We show you grills that fit the opening, with or without a trim kit.
Fuel check
Natural gas or propane, we make sure the new grill is set up for your line.
Swap and test
Old grill out, new grill in, connected and burn-tested.
Signs it's time to replace
Rusted-through firebox
Holes in the firebox or burner box can't be patched safely.
Parts no longer made
Discontinued models eventually run out of burners and valves.
Repairs keep stacking up
When the quote gets close to a new grill, put the money toward new.
You want more grill
Infrared, rotisserie, lights or a bigger cooking area.
Common built-in sizes
Most built-in grill heads are sold in 24, 30, 32, 36, 38, 42 and 54 inch widths. The number is the grill's nominal width, not the cutout. Two "36 inch" grills from different brands can need openings that differ by an inch or more, which is why we measure before recommending anything.
When the new grill is smaller
If the new grill is narrower than your opening, a trim kit or filler panel can close the gap cleanly. If it's wider, the opening has to be cut, which we'll tell you up front.
Brands we install
We sell and install built-in grills from brands including Lynx, AOG, Blaze and American Made Grills. See grills for sale or our full brands list.
